Yesterday was a really fun day! I met with Whitney Keyes – mentor & PR guru!) and Adrianna – mentee & sophomore at a local high school – they are both part of the Girls First Program a year long mentor program at the YWCA for High School Girls. They have talked about many different things over the months they have been meeting and one of the big ones is careers. Adrianna has expressed interest in the culinary arts, law & my favorite – photography. So Whitney being the amazing person she is set up meetings with successful people in these industries to give Adrianna a taste of what life could be like. Amazing!
It was a lot of fun talking with the girls & I wish them the best of luck with the program!!
