Snoqualmie Falls Springtime Proposal

Check out this Snoqualmie Falls Springtime Proposal!  When he popped the question, we ALL cried!!

Photographing proposals MIIIIIGHT be one of my all time favorite things!!  It’s true!!  They are fun, full of excitement and all of that nervous energy is AMAZING to be around!

Chris and Shivani are from California and they LOVE to travel. They had planned a trip to Washington to visit some friends, and Chris thought it would be a great idea to do an Adventure Shoot as a date night while they were up here.  Shivani was game, she had seen a few friends do similar things. She pulled out her glitteriest dress and scheduled her hair and nail appointments and we were ready to go!

What she DIDN’T know was that at a key moment in the shoot was that Chris was going to toss rose petals in the air and that was the indicator that he was about to get down on one knee and pop the question!!  (EEK, I’m getting excited just thinking about it now!!)

I have to say, BOTH of these kids are champs – to trust me with capturing such a special moment in their lives and can we all raise a glass of bubbles to Shivani for hiking down to Snoqualmie Falls in a full length gown and not one complaint… it was FREEZING!!

Hiking down to the falls took FOREVER because the light in the forest was GOOOORGEOUUUUS!!!  We had to stop ever few feet to grab portraits in front of those amazing moss covered trees, and when the sunlight started peeking through?!? DRAMATIC!!
