Allison & Jordan’s Engagement Portraits

A couple of months ago, a nervous Jordan called me up and said, “I am going to propose to my girlfriend on Lake Union and then fly her up to Roche Harbor for a weekend gettaway, will you photograph it for us?”  Um- HECK YES I WILL!!  We exchanged a bunch of planning texts, emails and phone calls walking through every detail to make sure it was perfect.  And it was – because it didn’t matter WHAT happened, all that matters was that she said YES! (and she did!)

Last weekend we went to Golden Gardens for Allison & Jordan’s engagement portraits, and honestly – I have no words! (When does that ever happen?!) These two are just so wonderful to be around and incredibly easy (and fun) to photograph! We walked from little Coney Island down to the end of the beach and back – laughing, talking about their wedding plans and all of the fun things we enjoy.  These two are total troopers for getting up the earliest on a Sunday morning. 🙂 I cannot wait for their big day out at Swiftwater.  Check out a few of my favorite images from the day, I know you’ll see what I see!!
