I met Monir a few months ago, she was featured on the cover of Fashion Manuscript and I was the lucky photographer to take the photos. As soon as we met I knew we would get along well. She is an amazing person. Her story, her background, the article that was written about her and her welcoming and loving personality. So when she called me early December to ask if I would photograph her birthday party – I was thrilled!!
This was like no other birthday party I’ve been to, they had a belly dancer!! FABULOUS!! (I was even dancing before the night was over!!)
