Steph & Caleb’s Seattle Engagement Session

Steph & Caleb’s Seattle Engagement Session was a few short weeks ago.It  was one of our rare dry beautiful December days it seems like we got SO lucky with the weather! We met at the Sculpture Park then walked our way over to the rooftop of the World Trade Center swapping stories the whole way, we ended the night with a beer at everyone’s favorite brewery, Old Stove Brewing at Pike Place and had the BEST time!

Have you ever tried sabering a bottle of champagne?? Did you nail it on the first try!? Please, I’d LOVE to know your secrets!

To spice up our portrait session we decided to blast off a couple of bottles of champagne for some exciting photos and it was HILARIOUS!!  Best part of the day if you ask me!!

In my opinion engagement portraits are a GREAT way for us to get to know each other!   The session not only gives you some beautiful images of the two of you, but it also gives you the opportunity to feel more comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

People say it can be awkward to be photographed. It’s true,  I TOTALLY understand!  By scheduling an engagement session a few months before your wedding, you’ll get all of the nerves out and feel 100% confident on your wedding day!  For another example of a great portrait session – check out this adventure shoot that ends with a proposal from Snoqualmie Falls.

Here are a few of my favorite images from Caleb & Steph’s engagement session. I can’t wait to share their wedding photos with you!

Steph and Caleb got engaged at the Old Stove Brewing, so it only makes sense that we took their engagement portraits there as well.
