You can always stop by to see samples of recent projects, jobs, parties, events, and friends — pretty much whatever is happening in my little world. =)
If you didn’t already know, I am a photographer (and I think it’s the coolest job EVER!) — commercially focused on photographing people — documenting their lives. Whether it is a life changing event such as a wedding, pregnancy, a new baby (love babies), a 50th birthday party, etc. — or often for a small business portrait or a business profile when a company is looking to update their website, brochure, online networking sites, I do it all — in a fun creative way of course!
So, photography is really my life (love it) — but other than the photo biz…I’m one of the founders of this fabulous group — Get Hitched Give Hope — our mission is to give brides & grooms a fun way to plan their wedding all while giving back! (So cool!)
Okay, now you know all about me — I love taking photos & volunteering my time, other than that — traveling is pretty cool, so if you have a job in Germany, Paris, Alaska or Fij…my cameras are already packed and I’m ready to go!
Last weekend was Easter and what better time for a fun photo shoot?? We spent Sunday afternoon at Ryan’s parents house (what a gorgeous yard!) Mary & Aneikha came up and since Aneikha is one of my FAVORITE people to take pictures of… here you go!
For those of you who are newer blog followers… Aneikha is my hilarious little five year old niece who loves to be the star of the show! ;0)
Its that time of year again… CUPCAKE CAMP TIME!!! If you aren’t familiar just yet – this is the time of year when Carrie Middlemiss of Bella Cupcake Couture throws a party where all of the best bakers in the state (and oregon too!) come together to show off their baddass baking skills! It was an amazing time, we rocked out all afternoon with Bamboo Beats there were awards in both amateur and professional categories, eating contests AND all of the proceeds went to benefit the Hope Heart Institute.
The Canal & Jewel Hospitality were the generous hosts of the afternoon – what a gorgeous space on this fabulously sunny Sunday afternoon!
Dante from Dante’s Inferno Dogs –(THE best hot dog stand in Town!!) was there to feed us a little savory to balance out all of the sweeeets!
There were SO many wonderful & generous Cupcake Bakers here — I hope I don’t forget anyone ::
Richard & Jaime were married on one of Seattle’s HOTTEST days last August – it was a beautiful day!! We enjoyed time at the Sorrento (in the air conditioning!) getting ready, then headed down to a well known Seattle park – Parsons Gardens before heading to our beloved Madison Park for a little photo session and then THE best meal at The Madison Park Cafe! Jaime has chosen her favorite images and we created a gorgeous 8×8 collages album for them to enjoy and share with family! Since they live in London I thought everyone would want to see a digital version of this beautiful book!
login facebook-Nice post about Richard & Jaime’s Wedding Album » Barbie Hull Photography. I am very impressed with the time and effort you have put into writing this story. I will give you a link on my social media blog. All the best!
